Thai Underground Tunneling Experts to Visit PTC
A group from the Thailand Underground and Tunneling Group (TUTG), a Geotechnical sub-committee of the Engineering Institute of Thailand will be visiting Manila on October 1 & 2, 2009. The TUTG is a nation member of the International Tunneling Institute (ITA) based in Switzerland. The purpose of the meeting is to extend relationship between PTC and ITA.
PTC increases Annual Dues
In the regular meeting held July 31, 2009, the PTC board agreed to increase the annual dues for its members from P3,000 to P5,000 effective 2010. From the annual dues, P1,000 will go to the APO’s membership to the Philippine Federation Professional Associations (PFPA).
Application for ASEAN Engineers Open
All engineers who are interested to join the ASEAN Engineers registry are requested to submit their application forms by September 30, 2009. Conferment will be held at the 27th Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (CAFEO27) to be held on December 1-2, 2009 at the Suntec City Convention Center, Singapore.L
